Is this a job or employment role?
No, this is a partnership model.
This is not employment and does not include a salary, benefits, or fixed hours.
Partners participate as independent referral partners, not employees or agents.
Do I need sales experience?
No traditional sales experience is required.
You do not need to:

- Pitch pricing
- Negotiate contracts
- Close deals
You just need to recognize when a founder might benefit from Buildly and make a thoughtful introduction.
What exactly do partners do?
Partners:
- Identify founders or startup teams who may need collaborative product, technical, or operational support
- Make a warm introduction or share a referral link / QR code
- Stay out of scoping, pricing, and delivery
Buildly handles everything else.
What does Buildly handle?
Buildly is responsible for:
- Discovery and qualification
- Scoping and pricing
- Contracts and billing
- Delivery and ongoing client management
Partners are never responsible for execution.
How much commission do partners earn?
Partners earn 25% of revenue collected from qualified referrals.
- Applies to one-time and recurring engagements
- Calculated on net revenue received by Buildly
- No cap on earnings
Commission terms typically apply for up to 12 months from the start of the client engagement.
When and how are commissions paid?
- Paid monthly or per invoice, depending on the engagement
- Payments are made via the agreed payment method
- Partners are responsible for their own taxes
Referral and commission status is tracked transparently through Collab Hub.
What counts as a “qualified referral”?
A referral is considered qualified if:
- The introduction is made directly by you (or via your referral link / QR code), and
- The startup is not already an active Buildly client or in an active sales conversation, and
- The startup enters into a paid engagement with Buildly within 90 days of the introduction
Buildly determines qualification in good faith and communicates status clearly.
Is this program exclusive?
No.
- You may refer clients to other companies
- Buildly works with multiple partners
- There are no exclusivity requirements
Is there a minimum number of referrals required?
No.
- No quotas

You participate at your own pace.
Can I promote Buildly publicly?
Yes — responsibly.

Partners may not:
- Misrepresent pricing or guarantees
- Present themselves as Buildly employees
- Use Buildly branding in a misleading way
